Who We Are

Watoto-STEM Charity is a youth-focused nonprofit organization dedicated to providing hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math education to children across Africa.

We believe that every child deserves the chance to explore, experiment, and imagine, regardless of where they are born.

Our work centers on one simple idea:
Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not.
So we create opportunities.

What We Do
Watoto-STEM delivers practical, engaging STEM learning through:

Science experiment kits - STEM Kits
Robotics and coding kits
STEM workshops and school programs
Teacher support and community partnerships

Instead of memorizing facts, children learn by building, testing, and solving real problems. They see science come alive in their hands, and that changes everything.

Who We Help We focus on children and students in underserved communities across Africa, especially:

Public schools with limited STEM resources, rural and low-income communities, and young learners ages 5–16.

We partner with schools, educators, NGOs, and community leaders to make sure our programs reach the children who need them most.

Why It Matters
Everything around us is shaped by science, from the water systems that keep our communities healthy, to electricity, and energy projects that power our cities, to agriculture, infrastructure, education systems, and natural resource exploration across our countries.

Africa’s growth depends on engineers, scientists, doctors, innovators, and technology leaders who understand these systems and can improve them for future generations.

But without early exposure to science and technology, many students never discover their potential. They are far less likely to pursue careers in engineering, healthcare, digital technology, renewable energy, or innovation, the very fields shaping Africa’s future and driving global progress.

When children experience STEM early, they begin to see themselves as problem-solvers. They learn that they can design better water systems, build smarter energy solutions, improve healthcare, and create technology that serves their own communities.

That belief changes lives. And that is why Watoto-STEM Charity exists.
